- The Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIB)
Specifically, for financial services there are two 'schools' or institute offshoots:
- PFS - The Personal Finance Society (part of the CII) - www.thepfs.org.uk
- IFS - The Institute for Financial Services (part of the CIB) - www.ifslearning.co.uk

If you are pursuing a general career in financial services you should join the CII.
If you intend to limit your financial services career to perhaps just banking or mortgages you should consider the IFS.
