FSA Countdown Visit: 5 TCF Review and Gap Analysis

Mind the Gap - TCF Review and Gap Analysis ExplainedFSA Countdown Visit: 5 TCF Review and Gap Analysis

This is our fifth set of campaign notes for preparing for an FSA visit and ensuring your procedures are in place.

Frequently we are asked: "How do you get TCF started in a business?"

Answer: You must Review and then Analyse your gaps in treating your customers fairly

Everyone knows that Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) should form an integral part of your business, and for most of us it does.

The hardest part is demonstrating that you treat your customers fairly and proving you have built it into the very heart of your business.  This is hard because there are no set rules, which if complied with, would give you the evidence you (or the FSA) need.

Whilst there is a lot of guidance from the FSA, there is nothing hard and fast we can use, with the exception of testing our business models against the six outcomes by undertaking a review and gap analysis.
