TCF Notice - What does the FSA send out?
We received a letter saying that the next round of TCF assessments would take place in the Midlands during September and October and that our firm will be assessed.
The assessment will be conducted as a mini visit, meeting or telephone interview. It will look into how our firm’s management approaches TCF, how we demonstrate we are treating customers fairly and what needs to be done to ensure we meet the December 2008 deadline.
A number of firms will be randomly selected for control sample assessments a few weeks before the roadshow to compare how effective firms are before and after roadshows.
The FSA is running an interactive roadshow to explain the assessment process and their expectations regarding TCF. The idea is to work through real issues that may affect you and learn from other firms about how they approach TCF.
