FSA’s Aim for the Day
:  Achieve an understanding of where FSA are coming from on the issue of TCF.  How it affects you and your businesses and to ensure you are in a position to meet the FSA requirements.

When asked what they considered fair treatment, consumers said:

  • Documents setting out terms for a working relationship should be clear, not overly long or technical.
  • You should deliver what you promise.
  • You should fix it if it breaks.
  • They should not be taken advantage of.

The key message from the FSA was that if you decide to offer a service, you should be able to deliver it fully. They said the key was not to set your standards too high!

Format: The format roadshow consisted of presentations and then breaking into workgroups to go through case studies and spokespersons being elected to present. However, we have summarised the important parts for you in the Must Know Bits section.
